I saw these Halloween Tide Jack-o’-Lanterns on Pinterest and I just had to make them! These are incredibly simple to make (as our other Halloween craft ideas), so even your kids can help! Also, you may help recycle plastic and this decor will last so much longer. First, gather all of the materials listed below. You can find them on Amazon or much better if you already have them at home.
- Empty Tide Pods Laundry Detergent
- Sharpie Permanent Marker or Permanent Vinyl Matte Black
- Window Scraper Tool (or credit card for any residue)
- Battery Operated Tea Lights or Fairy String Lights (or Tea lights from Dollar Tree)
Here’s What To Do:
- Step 1: Melt the adhesive label with a blow dryer or soak the empty Tide Pods Laundry Detergent in hot water with soap for a minute
- Step 2: Use a window scraper tool to scrape the label away
- Step 3: Use a black Sharpie marker for the faces, or get creative by cutting shapes from black adhesive vinyl using scissors
- Finally: Put the tea lights or string lights inside the empty container and voilà you have Jack-o’-Lantern Halloween Decor.
