Teaching is the best. Love the morning hugs and watching my little ones light up when something clicks.
I love being a middle school special education teacher because it’s a grade level that gives me a 50% chance to change my students lives for the better and I work extra hours help my students parents out as much as I can outside of school hours if needed because I am the teacher that will make my students lives better and better prepare them for “real life” my class is a no iPad class but a fun interactive learning classroom
I’d pick my mom, she’s the hardest working woman I know, she actually worked at our elementary school and she gave me my first detention – long story but all the other teachers said I was fine but nope that woman had to give me one. Jokes on her though because I ended up realizing detention is nothing lol all of my friends STILL bring up how much they liked her (she had candy a lot) but my mom raised five kids and we all were college level reading by 4th grade. It made me realize when I got older how important reading is especially donating books. But she’s the best teacher and mom. Always has been lol
I love teaching because kids are truly the joy of the entire learning process! Seeing kids frustrated with their math problems hurts my heart. But seeing them understand, learn, and grow intellectually is one of the best things you can do in this world!
I love teaching because I feel that I’m doing something meaningful for the little ones. I love to listen to their daily stories and help them whenever they have an issue. I want to make them feel that they matter and cared for 💕
I am passionate about teaching in my community because representation matters. It’s important for students to see educators who look like them and speak their language—a privilege I didn’t have growing up. This shared cultural connection not only helps me relate to my students, but also allows me to effectively engage with their families and foster a supportive, inclusive learning environment.
I love teaching because I want to be that teacher that is there for them if they don’t have that at home I want to be that teacher and that they can live back in a couple years and be like this was my best teacher my favorite teacher she was there she listened she helped. I have a teacher like that until this day I talk to her she was my fifth grade teacher I’m 33 now and I love her and if I run into her somewhere I still say she’s my teacher it’s just amazing and I want to be able to do that for my kids
… the kids. I teach high school history, coach 2 seasons of varsity cheerleading, and do home instruction tutoring amongst other activities, so picking one memory for me would be impossible. However, just last week my cheerleaders attended the Future Educators of America “Week of the Young Child” event, where they taught them a cheer on being community helpers. You can see the young kids in theirs vests & the cheerleaders on stage in this picture 🥰🫶🏻
This memory and the numerous others motivate me to continue creating a space for students to spread kindness, be successful, and supper each other
I love teaching because there is never a dull moment. Everyday is different, the kids always have the “tea” on what’s going on around campus. They keep me on my toes, every single day feels like an adventure, they also appreciate the little things I do. Especially when they win prizes like jolly ranchers for getting their answers correct or a sticker. Students know when you do things from your heart. My job is so rewarding, because more than teaching, I help students see what the other side of an issue and sometimes, all the kids need is for someone to listen to their stories to feel heard and seen. These are some of the many reasons why I love teaching. I feel blessed to be able to do what I do, everyday.
They deserve it and more don’t forget nurses
