Teacher Appreciation Week Freebies & Deals!

It’s that time of the year again where we celebrate National Teacher Appreciation Week! Through May 12th, educators across the country will be recognized for their hard work and dedication to shaping young minds. To honor this special occasion, many restaurants and businesses are offering freebies and discounts to all teachers.

We’ve listed some stores that offered discounts and freebies last year and we are expecting them to offer something similar for this year’s celebration. Also, you can check out others that already announced their deals for this year. Check them out below and visit the places mentioned!

Subway

Through May 12th, Subway is offering Nurses and Teachers a chance to win a free Subway Series sandwich. All you have to do is go here, enter your information, and click submit. Subway is giving out up to 2,000 sandwiches per day and if you didn’t win today, the giveaway resets at 6 AM PST and you can enter again.

Firehouse Sub

Firehouse Subs is showing its appreciation by offering a special promotion for all teachers out there! Through May 12th, when you purchase a medium or large Firehouse sub, chips, and drink, you’ll receive a free medium sub! It’s the perfect opportunity to treat yourself and enjoy a delicious meal. Whataburger

It’s time to celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week with Logan’s Roadhouse. Through May 12th, Logan’s Roadhouse is offering a 20% discount on your entrée all week long! It’s a great time to indulge in some delicious food and relax after a long day of teaching.

Freddy’s

National Teacher Appreciation Week is just around the corner, and Freddy’s wants to celebrate with you. Through May 12th, all teachers and faculty members can enjoy a sweet treat from Freddy’s. Simply present your faculty ID, and you’ll receive a free mini single topping ice cream sundae!

Keep in mind that there is a limit of one sundae per teacher or faculty member, per day. So, make sure to stop by Freddy’s every day of the week to take advantage of this amazing offer.

Insomnia Cookies

To all teachers, daycare employees, and school staff! Insomnia Cookies wants to show their appreciation for all that you do during Teacher Appreciation Week. Through May 12th, you can receive a free 6-Pack of Classic Cookies with a $5 in-store purchase when you mention this deal and show proper ID.

This offer is available in-store only, and you can use your work ID, pay stub, or other official proof of employment as your ID. Keep in mind that this offer is limited to one per person.

O’Charley’s Restaurant & Bar

Through May 12th, O’Charley’s Restaurant & Bar is offering a free dessert when you purchase an entree at any O’Charley’s location and show a valid ID.

Perkins Restaurant & Bakery

Calling all teachers! Through May 12th, you can receive 20% off your meal when you present valid ID at any Perkins Restaurant & Bakery in celebration of Teachers Appreciation Week.

But here’s the catch – you must be a member of the Perkins Restaurant & Bakery E-Club before May 8th to get this offer. Don’t worry though, signing up is easy and can be done online here.

Dickey’s BBQ Pit

Calling all teachers! Through May 12th, visit Dickey’s Barbecue Pit where you can grab a FREE Big Yellow Cup with a minimum purchase of $10. Simply show your valid employment ID.

McAlister’s Deli

Through May 10th, any teacher that visits McAlister’s Deli can score a free 32-ounce tea. No purchase is necessary, you just need to show a valid badge or ID. Do note that you need to order in person for dine-in or takeout to get this freebie. 

Sonic

Sonic has launched an exciting new loyalty program called the Sonic Teachers’ Circle! As a member, you can enjoy many exclusive discounts and coupons, just for being an educator. 

From May 9th through May 16th, Sonic is offering a fantastic deal for all Teachers’ Circle members: a free cheeseburger (usually priced at $5.49) with any other purchase. To take advantage of this offer, simply sign up for the Sonic Teachers’ Circle on the Sonic app, and then present your membership at the time of purchase.

Buffalo Wild Wings

Last year, in honor of National Teacher Appreciation Week, all teachers and school faculty got 20% off their meals at Buffalo Wild Wings when they present their faculty ID.

Potbelly

This Teacher Appreciation Week, Potbelly Sandwich Shop wants to show their appreciation by offering a freebie. Through May 12th, educators who show their work ID at their local Potbelly restaurant can receive a free regular-sized soft drink or cookie with an entree purchase. This offer is only valid for in-restaurant orders.

Marble Slab Creamery

Marble Slab Creamery wants to celebrate Heroes Week by offering teachers a special promotion! Through May 6th, you can enjoy a buy one get one free small ice cream when you show a valid ID. Keep in mind that this offer is only valid for in-store purchases and cannot be combined with other promotions or discounts.
