It’s one of the most rewarding experiences I have ever had – to be recognized by students who have graduated and give you credit for getting them there. This career will forever be dear to my heart no matter how difficult it may be.
I’m just finishing up year 18! 3rd grade teacher
Honestly it’s the relationships for me! I love watching and seeing them grow and learn! The best thing to know you’ve done all you can and ready to send them to the next grade! 💜
I help inspire our future. I’ve been a Head Start teacher for 36 yrs. I am praying the current administration supports our program for another 60 yrs!! ❤️
My favorite memory is showing up for senior parent night for a football player whose parent did not support his football career. He was a star football player at our school on varsity all 4 years of high school. His parent did not show up to a single game all 4 years. I was his “mom” at school and showed up for him at the games and anything he needed me too. So for his senior night he asked me to escort him on the field. Moments like this are why I love my job, truly making a difference in my students lives mean everything to me!
I love teaching because I enjoy the outcome of any of my students becoming successful in life and achieve their goals to ensure there future.
cont. to my teaching comment: this is amazing! thank YOU for giving us educators a sweet opportunity to win something like this! Goodluck everyone!! 💫💫🍀
I love teaching because it reminds me of my WHY. My favorite memory with my students was when I told them I was expecting my first baby! After that… what felt like every minute (very thankful) they would checked up on me, asked me how I was feeling or if I had any names yet. These were my sweet, most kindhearted Kindergarteners. ❤️
I love teaching because it is my passion to help those students with academic needs or disabilities that may require extra support to fulfill those academic needs.
I love teaching because of my students. Getting to know them as people and helping them grow is the best.
I love teaching because I’m able to help the kids who are struggling like I did as a kid.
