Kids Skate Free is a program that offers free roller skating passes for children so that they can have fun while staying active. For families, the KSF program provides an easy and inexpensive way to get out and enjoy healthy physical activity in a safe and controlled environment. Like Kids Bowl Free, this program was available only during the summer months, but now it’s being offered all year around! Check out the details here!
Note that each skating center makes up its own rules (dates, times, age restrictions, and skate rental policies) and they vary by area.

If youâd like to be part of your favorite rinkâs Kids Skate Free program:Â
- First, go to www.kidsskatefree.com and search for a participating rink near you.
- Click on the link and enter your information into the form.
- Download MyHownd to access your passes.
- Make sure you sign into MyHownd using the same email you used to sign up for Kids Skate Free

Wish there was one closer by like the bowling
I find it very saddening to see Oregon isn’t even listed. I’m in the Portland metro area & I think there are only 2 or 3 skating rinks still in existence. and 1 of those is actually in an amusement park. I have such fond memories of weekend & school breaks hanging out at the rink. Even in high school we’d all be hanging out at least 1 weekend night at the rink. Great Times!

not as many places participating as the bowling one, I hope the skating rink near me joins this.
Was able to get a skate pass but it expires tomorrow. Not sure if I have to re submit each time we go skating or if after that date I get a pass to cover the summer

Here’s what I found on their site: “Passes will automatically expire and be replaced with two new valid passes every Monday.” If in case you may have any trouble seeing the new valid passes after your current passes expire, I suggest reaching out to their Customer Service in the bubble chat here: https://myhownd.com/faq/#KSF They should be able to help.
