Did this months ago and it didn’t work. I showed the associates the email and they said that I did it wrong. The links kept taking me to the app to sign up there and since I signed up on the app I didn’t qualify for it.
Will be doing this again since my sister membership ended! She actually got reimbursed the $45 after even getting the gift card LOOOOL. Thanks for sharing!
*** if you do not receive the $45 gift card via email for whatever reason, print the original email invitation with the link/code & the email confirming you purchased a membership to member services in your local store. I had no issues obtaining a $45 physical card from them.

so I signed up but was never given a promo code. instead, it took me straight to sign up and pay for the $45+tax. I went to my local sam club and they dont know what I am talking about. Did I not do this correctly? anyone went through the same process.

The promotion is for an eGift card so you won’t receive a tangible card. At customer service they informed me it would arrive in my email approximately 6 weeks after enrollment. Well, it didn’t. So, I called customer service, told them the situation and in 30 minutes they emailed it. The representative even called me back to confirm I received it and said they are a little backed up with sending them out so please don’t worry. Calling in is the quickest way to receive it. Hope this helps😊.

With all due respect, this should not say that Customer Service will immediately give the consumer a $45 Gift Card.
It says when you click that it takes about 4 weeks.
Please correct this misleading post. People may be depending on getting it on the spot.
