• Favorite Things Friday: Dinner Winner Kids Dinner Trays (Making Meal Time Fun)

UPDATE: This Giveaway is now over! Winner announcement has been posted on my homepage. See more Giveaways being dropped on my blog here.

My son Ryan is kind of a picky eater (he takes after my husband, Mr FSF ). While my daughter Sophie isn’t a picky eater, she would start to mimic her brother’s behaviors (and verbal complaints), and before you know it, meal times can turn into a battle of wills. Me vs them. And it usually ends in tears.

Then last year I discovered these plates made by Fred & Friends called “Dinner Winner“. They are designed to encourage kids to finish their food. If you follow me on SnapChat, you may have seen me use these plates when preparing meals for my kids.

I LOVE these trays! They are so fun and colorful. Each tray is set up like a little board game, where you follow a “map” of food to a ” hidden treasure”.  When you finish the trail of food, the last placement is a covered spot for a hidden treat.   This is your “bait”. #Genius!

The first day I brought these plates out, they were an instant hit! And they really did motivate both my kiddos to finish their food, including things they didn’t like. I’ve since gotten these trays in pretty much every pattern . They really do make mealtime more fun, and can motivate and encourage picky eaters to finish their meals (and even try new things). I typically put a little piece of chocolate in the treat spot and that does the trick.

Anyway, it’s been a lot of fun preparing their meals and watching them use these trays. If you have a fussy eater, or you just want to add some fun into meal time, I recommend checking these plates out. They come in 5 different patterns.

This would be for my 5 year old daughter who was once a good eater but now isnt. She has her good days and bad but to get her to eat what i make for dinner can be difficult. At times i have to make her something else i know she will eat like mac n cheese or a bowl of cereal. I want her to develope better habbits and shes motivated when given a goal or challenge so i think this tray is perfect.

This would be for my 4yr old. He can be a great eater at times and at other times it can be a challenge to get him to eat dinner. I go through this every evening during our dinner routine, he refuses to eat and would rather play. And if it’s not
      San Bernardino, CA 🙂

This tray would be perfect for my 1 year ol grand daughter, she is very curious..

I have a 4 year old. She eats everything but can’t sit still long enough to finish her food. I would love this tray because I think shell be focused on eating and playing the game. My daughter just had an amazing appetite but part of it is allowing her and making her feel comfortable with taking risks on other foods. We also cheer her on I think she really loves the attention. Lol (whittier,ca)

Ah this is awesome! I need this for my 5 year old daughter. She’s plain jane and picky. No sauce or condiment anything but will eat clam chowder, mushrooms or pickles anytime of day!

I would absolutely love this for my picky 3 year old. I love how it is a progression of different foods. She loves fun things…I think this would inspire her to eat all of her food!

My 3 year old is the pickiest eater! Up until 1.5 years, he was so adventurous and would eat anything! Now it is a struggle to get much of anything down. He could live off of macaroni and cheese and pizza if we let him. We have to hide protein in his foods. His favorite healthy food are tomatoes, watermelon, cashews, and cucumbers. But let’s be honest, candy is his ultimate favorite. I’d love to have one of these to work his way to the sweet treat!

Yes! This plate is what I or my son needs. He is an extremely picky eater to the point that he just started OT services for this on Saturday. This will us and him try new foods/textures and have a more balanced diet!

Hi! We are from Las Vegas NV. I would love to win this for my son who turns 5 next month. He is a picky eater like his dad too! His favorites are spaghetti, granola bars, fruit snacks, and popsicles lol

This tray looks amazing. My 6 year old is just venturing out into trying new foods and I know this would entice him to eat better. I could put small potions of new veggies in some of the spots and some with his favorites like green beans and corn. He’s a carb a Holic and this would help with that for sure.

He loves corn, broccoli, carrots and green beans. He’s not a big meat eater.

      I’m from Lodi California.
