After 35 years of holding the price of $1, Dollar Tree has announced that they would be raising the price of the majority of its products to $1.25 in all stores by early 2022.
Dollar Tree said that the slightly higher prices will give the them more flexibility to reintroduce many “customer favorites” that were previously discontinued because of the $1 price point and for them to introduce new products to its shelves.
The company said the higher price point is a permanent move, and not the result of âshort-term or transitory market conditions”. It was also announced that the $1.25 price point will be rolled out to more than 2,00 Dollar Tree stores this coming December.

Sad to hear but it makes sense
Itâs happeningâŠit was expected. Itâs like the 99+ stores it just depends what you buy. Some stores are bigger than others and offer more variety, it would make sense for prices to go up. Either way I donât think a 25 cent increase will stop me from shopping..

Yes I do get tht . I knew something was up because about 2/3 years ago dollar tree bought family dollar out . And they were supposed to turn all family dollars into dollar trees but keep those stores as they were.
Well tht didnât happen to not 1 of the stores .
And now family dollar made their come back & turned around and bought out dollar tree!!

ME 3!!!! I canât afford to buy my grandkids much. I am disabled and have to TRY and live on $800 A MONTH!! But I could take my young grandkids and say you can get 2 things and they thought I was the best Mawmaw ever!!! đ.
