I almost booked with frontier but their reviews are just awful! I didn’t wanna take the chance, has anyone flown with them?
I have, they often use the same airplanes and routes as bigger companies (like your leg on frontier is just a smaller leg of an Alaska airlines route.) The worst thing about frontier is that their gates are relegated to the outer lands, leave extra time ahead as the gate may be all the way in a remote terminal, or in the case of SFO, the frontier gate is with the international gates. They never advertise that clearly that I have seen.
And I was going to fly out of SFO!! But with their bag fees and 5 hour layovers I ended up paying $150 more for the convenience of southwest 2 free checked bags & non stop! I’ve never had an issue with SW, thank you so much for the response I may try them in the future (the rates sure make you want to book with them) LOL
