Opened new reloadable account in November, made purchase with temporary account number on my reloadable account page. Never got the credit. Call in today and am told that I had to wait until permanent card came and make transaction via those numbers. Doesn’t matter that it was made on this new never before had account. Elevated to supervisor. Same story. Such a hassle. Now I’m returning item.

Okay, I applied for the debit card option. Didn’t know you would need to be approved for a debit card? Not sure how that works? Also, I always thought if you get a message about getting a response in the mail in 7-10 business days usually means a denial letter? Not sure, I know tbh I know my credit isn’t the best, but then again it’s the debit card option I applied for? Any thoughts please?

Hi Christopher! Yes, same as on credit RedCard applications, Target also needs to review all debit RedCard applications. There is no specific mention of the criteria needed to qualify on their website but usually, if you are accepted, it will tell you immediately. If it helps, I would suggest calling your local Target to ask and confirm the status of your application. I’m sure they’d be able to give more info. Let us know how it goes too please!

It took me twice to sign up. My fiancĂ© and I both have 750+ credit scores and were told that we would receive a letter & denied on the first try. We were sent a letter needing a simile identity verification. Don’t give up right away, usually it’s something as small as a verified process- and if all else fails ANYTIME you get a denial letter Always call the reconsideration line at the card company. #1 reason being that they probably just need to verify your identity. And if it’s something else, atleast you have room to explain your situation around your denial and they can possibly change their mind. Most people have a fraud alert on their consumer report or forget to unfreeze their bureaus before applying and don’t even realize it. A quick call can eliminate a lot of things. Another thing that I would try is: Google the bureau target uses to determine approvals for their credit cards. Freeze all bureaus but that one. (Hopefully it’s your highest score) that way they only have one bureau to pick through to say yes or no to, instead of 3. Also, freeze the smaller bureaus (there’s 200) sage stream, innovis, clarity services, certegy, core logic teletrac, core logic credco, Lexus nexus, Chex systems (this reports your previous banking and tattle tales on you, and ____ (this tells all your banking transactions since your first bank account and also illegal where they get their info from) on each bureau ask for a report to be sent to you and then fill an opt out form (5years will do) on any reporting of your consumer report. If they report illegally it’s 1k per time. Pull a report from them every 3 months. This won’t fix the bad things on your report it will only bandaid it
making it illegal to report any of your private transactions etc. also write every financial company, utility company, banking facility, credit card company and send them an arbitration opt out. Tell them you’re redacting any verbal, written, or non written agreements previously stated by you to any arbitration clause on their part. 2024 they changed the laws to our favor. Go on chat gtp4 and ask them to write the letter for you and 30 seconds later you’ll have it. Send this certified mail (green) to everyone. They’ll no not to play with your privacy. You’re now skipping over reg court systems and placing them straight to federal court. Trust and believe your file will be in tip shop before the next morning.
My biggest thing was never getting the $50 credit after alllllll of that đŸ˜‚đŸ˜‚đŸ˜© #life
