I don’t agree with how Starbucks are treating their employees especially when it comes to unionization. I still have a Starbucks gift card to use so once that is done I will no longer support Starbucks in any way anymore!

You’re entitled to the way you feel but I work for Starbucks and we’re treated fine. The pay is decent and we have good benefits. It’s the perfect job for a college student or someone who is tired of commuting into the city every day or a young mother who just wants benefits. They have never said that we can’t unionize and several stores in my area already have.
That’s great your area Starbucks has let you unionize. Your case is not the same for other areas. As sited by PBS.org : “In recent months, multiple federal judges have ruled that Starbucks illegally fired workers in both Buffalo, New York, and Memphis, Tennessee.” This has also been sited in other reputable sites. I also have several friends who have left Starbucks because they were poorly mistreated.
