    On January 24th, the company announced a recall of specific batches of Robitussin Honey CF Max Day Adult and Robitussin Honey CF Max Nighttime Adult cough syrups due to potential microbial contamination. This contamination poses a significant risk to individuals with compromised immune systems, potentially leading to serious infections. It is important to note that this situation is concerning for anyone who has used these products.

    Homedics Percussion Personal Massager Recall

    Homedics Percussion Personal Massager

    Homedics is recalling more than 80,000 massage guns due to potential overheating issues during charging, which could pose burn and fire risks. The affected massagers, identified by the model number HHP-715, were manufactured before 2023. To check the manufacturing date, examine the underside of the barrel for a sticker with a four-digit code, where the last two digits indicate the production year.

    Consumers have been advised to stop using or charging the recalled massagers and to contact Homedics to receive a full refund or a refund in the form of a credit toward any Homedics product, including a 20% bonus.

    Tyson Fully Cooked Fun Nuggets Recall

    Tyson Fully Cooked Fun Nuggets Recall

    Tyson Foods is recalling approximately 30,000 pounds of their Tyson Fully Dinosaur Shaped Cooked Fun Nuggets sold to retailers in 29-ounce packages. A number of consumers have reported they found small metal pieces in the product.

    The product was produced at one location on September 5, 2023. Impacted products bear the product codes 2483BRV02 07, 2483BRV02 08, 2483BRV02 09, or 2483BRV02 10, establishment code P7211, with a best if used by date of September 4, 2024. Product cases may be identified by code 048153-6910, 10000048153. 

    Consumers who have purchased the affected item should cut the UPC and date code from the packaging, discard the product and call or text 1-855-382-3101.

    Insignia Air Fryer Recall

    Insignia 5 Quart Digital Air Fryer

    Best Buy together with the US Consumer Product Safety Commission voluntarily recalls certain models of Insignia air fryers and air fryer ovens due to fire, burn, and laceration hazards. You can be eligible for the recall if you purchased an Insignia air fryer and air fryer oven at Best Buy, eBay, or other third-party sellers between November 2021 and November 2023. The affected units can overheat which can cause the handles to melt or break and the glass door to shatter.

    The Insignia air fryer or air fryer oven models included in the recall are:

    • NS-AF34D2
    • NS-AF5DSS2
    • NS-AF5MSS2
    • NS-AF8DBD2
    • NS-AF10DBK2
    • NS-AF10DSS2

    For registration of your claim and instructions on the requirements for the destruction of the units, go here. Other requirements needed for submitting a claim are photo of your unit, the model number, and the purchase receipt if you still have it. Eligible claimants may receive a refund or Best Buy store credit equivalent to the purchase amount indicated on your receipt. For those who doesn’t a receipt, refund will amount to the average sales price for the model. Please note that Best Buy stores will not issue your refund if you return your air fryer in-stores.     Diet Coke, Fanta, & Sprite Recall

    Coca Cola Sprite and Fanta Drinks

    The United Packers, LLC, one of Coca-Cola’s bottling companies, has issued a voluntary recall for specific soda products, namely Diet Coke, Fanta Orange, and Sprite. This recall is prompted by the potential presence of “foreign material” in the cans. There was a similar recall last 2021 due to the potential presence of metal bolts or washers in Minute Maid products.

    Products affected by this recall:

    • 417 cases of Diet Coke (12 oz cans, 12-pack)

    • 14 cases of Fanta Orange (12 oz cans, 12-pack)

    Apple Cinnamon Puree & Applesauce Pouches Recall

    WanaBana Apple Cinnamon Pouch Schnucks Applesauce Pouch and Weis Cinnamon Applesauce Pouch

    Certain apple cinnamon puree and applesauce products have been found to contain elevated levels of lead, which can potentially lead to acute toxicity. Several cases of illness in children have been reported after consuming specific brands of applesauce pouches. In order to ensure public safety, the FDA has initiated a recall of these products. Investigators suspect that the source of contamination is the cinnamon used in the products. As of November 16, 2023, there have been 34 reported cases of illness related to this issue.

    Here are the following products affected by the recall:

    • WanaBana Apple Cinnamon Fruit Puree Pouches (all lot codes and expiration dates)
      These were sold nationwide through various retailers including Amazon, Dollar Tree, and other online outlets.
    • Schnucks Cinnamon-Flavored Applesauce Pouches and Variety Pack
      These were sold at Schnucks and Eatwell Markets grocery stores.
    • Weis Cinnamon Applesauce Pouches (specific lots of UPC 041497216123)
      These were sold at Weis grocery stores.

    Nissan Recall (Air Bags)

    Nissan Recall (Air Bags)(2/9/2023) A defective component of the airbag system, specifically the emblem on the driver’s side that covers the airbag, has caused injuries to several people. The flawed part increases the risk of damage by causing the airbag emblem and retainer components to separate and become projectiles upon deployment.

    If your vehicle is affected, you will take one of the recalled vehicles to a Nissan dealer for free repairs. Nissan is actively working on a fix and intends to inform impacted owners about the intentions for a fix by April 10. To get it fixed for free, you should arrange a repair as soon as you have that information from Nissan. Anticipate a letter in the mail. Nissan will advise you of the recall and the repair procedure when they get in touch with you. Along with any other information you require to be aware of, the letter will also give the anticipated time frame for the repair.

    Cosori Air Fryer Recall!

    Cosori, a maker of air fryers, has announced the recall of about 2 million devices because of a possible fire and burn hazard. A wiring problem led to the recall of 22 Cosori air fryer models. Due to a cable connection problem, Cosori had to recall some of its air fryers because they could melt, catch fire, or overheat. See more details here!

    The 5.8-quart and 3.7-quart recalled air fryers are offered in black, gray, white, blue, or red. Each unit has the trademark “Cosori” printed on the front, and the model number is printed on the device’s bottom label and in the user manual that comes with it.     Trader Joe’s Frozen Fruit Recall!

    Some of Trader Joe’s frozen fruit is being recalled due to a probable hepatitis infection. As unexpected as it may seem, that is what was declared on March 16, 2023. Keep reading to make sure you’re not exposed to the potential health threat after checking to see if you have any bags of the Organic Tropical Fruit Mix. Read more here! The affected items are 32-Ounce/2-Pound plastic bags of frozen Trader Joe’s Organic Tropical Fruit Mix (SKU# 51191), according to Trader Joe’s recall notice. The “Best By” dates for the goods are 04/25/24, 05/12/24, 05/23/24, 05/30/24, and 06/07/24. They were only offered for sale in the United States.     BlendJet Portable Blenders Recall

    BlendJet Portable Blenders

    BlendJet is recalling about 4.8 million earlier version of BlendJet 2 portable blenders because these can overheat or catch fire and the blender blades can break off hence posing fire and laceration hazards to users. To compensate affected users, BlendJet would be providing free replacement base unit and matching lid for their portable blenders. Meanwhile, Costco offers its customers to return their purchased blenders for a full refund as an alternative.

    The BlendJet 2 blenders that are currently on sale are not affected by the recall. You can check if your blender is included in the recall here by entering the serial number!

    IKEA LETTAN Mirrors Recall

    IKEA Lettan Mirror

    IKEA is expanding the recall of their LETTAN mirrors due to the risk of lacerations. The plastic fittings that attach the mirror to the wall are prone to breaking which can lead to the mirror falling and posing a laceration hazard to consumers.

    The list of affected LETTAN mirrors are as follows:

    • LETTAN Mirror 23 5/8×37 3/4 ” (Article Number 804.353.05)
    • LETTAN Mirror 31 1/2×37 3/4 ” (Article Number 804.353.10)
    • LETTAN Mirror 39 3/8×37 3/4 ” (Article Number 604.352.69)
    • LETTAN Mirror 47 1/4×37 3/4 ” (Article Number 304.353.03)

    These mirrors bear date stamps before and including 2105 (YYWW) and supplier number 21944, also with date stamps up to and including 2325 (YYWW).

    For those who have these affected products, it is advised to cease use immediately. To obtain replacement wall fittings (part number 139298/1) free of charge, individuals can contact IKEA here or by calling tel:8889664532.

    Also note that the number of fittings needed will depend on the mirror size, so it is important to review the mirror and assembly instructions before placing an order.     Eye Drops from CVS, Target & More

    CVS Health Multi Action Relief Drops and UpUp Dry Eye Relief 15 ml

    The FDA has issued a warning regarding specific over-the-counter eye drops from various major brands, including CVS Health, Leader, Rugby, Rite Aid, Target Up & Up, and Velocity Pharma. The reason for the recall is the potential presence of bacteria, which could lead to severe eye infections or vision impairment.

    There are no reported cases of eye infections associated with these products, but the FDA advises caution. This is the second eye drop recall this year, following the recall of Ezricare brand drops in January 2023.

    Affected Products:

    The recall includes 26 over-the-counter eye drop products under the following brands:

    • Leader (Cardinal Health)
    • Rugby (Cardinal Health)
    • Rite Aid
    • Target Up & Up
    • Velocity Pharma

    The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has issued a recall for 70 million Toxic Waste Slime Licker Sour Rolling Liquid Candies due to a potential choking hazard associated with the candy’s roller ball. These candies were sold for $2 to $4 at various retailers, including Amazon, Walmart, and Five Below, from June 2015 to July 2023.
