P&G Detergent Packets Recall

The giant manufacturer Procter & Gamble announced a recall of Tide Pods, Gain Flings, Ace Pods and Ariel Pods liquid laundry detergent packets that were made of flexible film. The packets are allegedly prone to split-open at the upper part below the zipper, which poses a direct potential risk of injuries to eyes or skin by touch or even more serious threat by digesting.

The aforementioned recalled products were sold at major retailers such as Amazon, Target, Walmart, CVS, Family Dollar and more in the period between September 2023 and February 2024. These lot numbers are subject to recall marking the following products:

• Tide Pods Light

• Tide Pods Free & Gentle
• Tide Pods Original
• Tide Pods Ultra Oxi
• Tide Simply Pods Plus Oxi Boost
• Gain Flings Blissful Breeze Scent
• Gain Flings Moonlight Breeze Scent
• Gain Flings Original
• Gain Flings Plus Odor Defense
• Gain Flings Plus Ultra Oxi
• Gain Flings Spring Daydream Scent
• Ariel Pods Alpine Breeze
• Ace Pods Clean Breeze
• Ace Pods Spring Meadow

If you are in possession of concerned products, you should secure them in a child-safe lid container, and store them away from children. P&G as part of the recall provide a prepaid debit card topped with the amount you spent on the detergents and replacement bag and cabinet latch for a secure storing.
