    Recognizing Recalled Scooter: A Guide!

    Jetson

Jetson, a leading manufacturer of electric scooters, released the Rogue model in 2018 and 2019. To identify these models, customers can locate the serial number located on the underside of the unit, which begins with the letters “ROG.” These popular scooters were available for purchase at Target stores nationwide between August 2018 and June 2019, both in-store and online. Additionally, customers could also buy the Rogue scooter directly from Jetson’s website, ridejetson.com, from January 2019 to November 2021. It’s crucial to check the serial number and confirm if your scooter is affected by the recent recall due to safety concerns.

The Rogue scooters manufactured by Jetson are easily identifiable by their two wheels and light-up hubcaps. The platform is black, and the scooter is available in various shades, including black, blue, red, pink, or purple. The brand name, Jetson, is prominently displayed on both the body and footpads. To charge the scooter, users can locate the charging port with three pins to the left of the power button. It’s essential to note that units with charging ports containing one pin located to the right of the power button are not included in the recall. Therefore, it’s vital to check the scooter’s features and charging port before determining if it’s affected by the recall notice.

    What to Do?

42 Volt Jetson Rogue Self Balancing Scooter

If you own a Jetson Rogue self-balancing scooter, it’s crucial to stop using the device or the charger immediately. To obtain a full refund, visit the Jetson website and follow the instructions provided. You will need to provide your personal information and submit pictures of the serial number, charger, purchase date, and proof that you have disposed of the scooter or hoverboard correctly. As the device contains ion-lithium batteries, it’s essential to dispose of them according to your local or state ordinance. To find the serial number, look for a sticker underneath the device starting with “ROG.” Note that if the sticker contains a barcode, it’s not part of the recall. Submit the requested photographs online, by email, or postal mail to initiate the refund process.

If you have any additional questions regarding the recall, please refer to Jetson’s website or contact Jetson directly at 800-635-4815 from Monday to Friday between 10 am and 6 pm ET. Their customer support team will be available to assist you with any queries you may have.
