• Favorite Things Friday: Dinner Winner Kids Dinner Trays (Making Meal Time Fun)

UPDATE: This Giveaway is now over! Winner announcement has been posted on my homepage. See more Giveaways being dropped on my blog here.

My son Ryan is kind of a picky eater (he takes after my husband, Mr FSF ). While my daughter Sophie isn’t a picky eater, she would start to mimic her brother’s behaviors (and verbal complaints), and before you know it, meal times can turn into a battle of wills. Me vs them. And it usually ends in tears.

Then last year I discovered these plates made by Fred & Friends called “Dinner Winner“. They are designed to encourage kids to finish their food. If you follow me on SnapChat, you may have seen me use these plates when preparing meals for my kids.

I LOVE these trays! They are so fun and colorful. Each tray is set up like a little board game, where you follow a “map” of food to a ” hidden treasure”.  When you finish the trail of food, the last placement is a covered spot for a hidden treat.   This is your “bait”. #Genius!

The first day I brought these plates out, they were an instant hit! And they really did motivate both my kiddos to finish their food, including things they didn’t like. I’ve since gotten these trays in pretty much every pattern . They really do make mealtime more fun, and can motivate and encourage picky eaters to finish their meals (and even try new things). I typically put a little piece of chocolate in the treat spot and that does the trick.

Anyway, it’s been a lot of fun preparing their meals and watching them use these trays. If you have a fussy eater, or you just want to add some fun into meal time, I recommend checking these plates out. They come in 5 different patterns.

I would love this for my 4 year old son, Mikey! He loves surprises, and totally deserves them. My mom has Alzheimer’s and he is such a great helper with his grandma. For example, he always reminds her to drink her water, and he helps remind her where the bathroom is. Thank you!

My daughter would love this tray. She’s three and is pretty good about eating meat and fruit. Will not touch a vegetable unless it’s a french fry. Maybe something like this tray will help with that.

      Hi FSF!
      Long time follower here.

I would love to win this for both my kids but since it’s just one I would have to enter this contest for my pickiest of pickiest eater, my Daughter Mila. She loves all fruit even tomatoes, she can eat them like apples. Now you’re probably wondering how is this picky? Well trying to get her to eat veggies and certain kinds of meat is a different story. She takes a couple bites (if I’m lucky) depending on the day and the mood she’s in and then she’s done. I think if she were to get this she would be excited about eating!
