Dude Products has agreed to a $9 million settlement to address claims that its Dude Wipes, advertised as “flushable,” are not actually flushable. You don’t need proof of purchase to file a claim if you purchased Dude Wipes “flushable” wipes products between February 5, 2015, and August 8, 2023.
Plaintiffs alleged that Dude Products falsely advertised these wipes as “flushable” when, in reality, they could potentially harm plumbing systems. While Dude Products hasn’t admitted wrongdoing, they agreed to the $9 million settlement.
If you’re eligible for the settlement, you can receive $0.50 for each eligible product you purchased. If you have proof of purchase, you can claim up to 40 products, which could result in a maximum payment of $20.
