manufacturers coupon on the checkout
last time i used coupons.com they said that if there is any manufactures coupon on the checkout it could not use their coupon.
did anyone had the same problem before or is there another way?
thanks
Yes, from CVS with Covergirl. The problem is I don’t know which item to scan, so I scanned just one of the items from the bag, but it seems to be the one already attached to digital coupon I used. I had 3 items purchased with one item without coupon used on it. I don’t know if this was the problem, but they didn’t approve it. I tried to contact customer service and got a response that I can’t use Coupons.com if I used manufacturer coupons already.
so i guess it could happen the same thing with this toothpaste. thanks!
It can’t happen if you follow the rules and read limits of coupons. Also, I don’t post deals that don’t work, ever. I personally test everything, and only post afterwards.
It is not about if you post deals that work or not. Others posted this deal with covergirl and it worked for them too. Some people even posted deals that work for them when they used manufacturer coupons and Coupons.com on one item and it works for them too. It never happened to me though, but I would not submit it this way either. In my case, I followed the same instructions as it was on FSF main page deal and I saw others did it too, but it didn’t work for me.
I was talking about the possibility of being denied, that it could happen, not that it would happen. Nothing is guaranteed even if someone did the deal and it worked for them. It depends on each case. Sometimes it goes through without a hitch even when people clearly committed fraud, and sometimes you follow the rules to the t and still don’t get it.
Did your coupon have limit of 1? If it was the case, then yes, you would be denied.
CVS has some limitations with its own coupons, but not much. You can usually use several of identical coupons on one item. It is actually easier than Walgreens. The Manufacturer coupon can be used 1 per item with appropriate limit per transaction , but you can use several CVS coupons with it. CVS coupon should not have effect on manufacturer coupons, but Coupons.com is tricky with CVS in general for me.
What a bummer then. I haven’t had problems with coupons, but hey o don’t shop at cvs, so maybe that’s why. Just stay away from cvs lol this deal at Walgreens worked no problem!
I don’t know how covergirl is, as I don’t see it in my coupons, but I imagine it’s the same as L’Oréal — limit of 1.
No, it has limit of 2. They are different from L’Oréal
You should contact support and demand an explanation then, what limit of 2 identical coupons mean then and why even put it there if they don’t follow their own rules. They credited me when I had hiccups.
I did, and they kept giving me the same response that I already used coupons on this product and reciting their terms. I even gave them a bad review after they asked me how it went, and they gave me the same answer after looking into my ticket. I explained them everything in details. In case of CVS, there is sometimes a problem when you use Extra Bucks and your total goes to 0. I am trying not to use Coupons.com with CVS, and it was my last time. I might use it in the future if I don’t have any coupons at all to be applied.
Maybe cvs coupon had some sort of restriction? I’m not familiar with cvs couponing to that extent, as it is too complicated for my brain
Each coupon has a limit. If it says limit of 2 identical coupons per transaction, you can use 2 coupons. If it says 1, then you get denied.
It seems to depend on which item you scan. If you scanned the item with the coupon already attached to it during transaction, it will get denied as in my case.
It said on a coupon: limit of 2. Also, to be safe, I always use coupons with different value where possible, so it’s not “the same coupon”.
Nice! I just have my Tom’s toothpaste away on Sunday. 😃
I don’t have the offer in my coupons app 😕
It’s there
I like Walgreens cash. It is better than register Rewards because of expiration time. WC is much longer vs. RR is one or two weeks
Yes, I agree. But I never shop at Walgreens unless free (without Walgreens cash), so it’s all useless haha I know many people love Walgreens.
Oh, I don’t love it. It confuses me with all the rules how everything works. I am ok collecting WC though because I can use it later on things like Baby Ruth or others that I can convert into other rebates later.
It confuses me too, yes!
