A class action settlement against Elixir Cosmetics was issued to resolve all claims regarding certain Babe makeup products purchased between June 1st, 2019, and January 19th, 2024. If you purchased the following products then you can qualify for this settlement:
- Essential Lash Serum
- Eyelash Serum
- Amplifying Brow Serum
- Brow Serum
According to the suit, Elixir failed to disclose material information and the potential side effects and risks of adverse reactions allegedly presented by one of its ingredients, Isopropyl Cloprostenate. While Elixir denies allegations, there will be a hearing on May 20th to address the fairness, adequacy, and reasonableness of the settlement and determine whether the action should finally be settled.
If the court gives final approval to the settlement, the expected payout will be up to $25 per unit purchased if you have a proof of purchase or up to $25 per household if you don’t have a proof of purchase.
