Target Shoppers! Target made a major change to their Price Match Policy, which became official last July 28, 2025. They ended their long-standing practice of matching prices from other competitors like Walmart and Amazon, which means that it no longer matches the price of its competitors if the product is cheaper there.
Target has made their Price Match Policy internal as they only adjust the prices to exclusively match in-store, through its app, and on Target.com, including Target Plus items. For example, if you see some item in-store that is cheaper on their website (or on their app), you’ll get it for that website price.
From January 15th, Target updated its policy to allow Target Circle deals to be combined with price matches.
Let us know in the comments what you think about this big change in Target Price Match Policy.

What exactly are âTarget Circle Dealsâ? Is that only for Target Circle members or anything under the âdealsâ tab on their website?
