With the holiday season, when people order online, scammers are in full force trying to catch unsuspecting people and get into their phones, computers, other devices. Be careful! Don’t click on any links even if it seems legitimate! If you have any packages coming, go directly to the website where you ordered your goods to check if there is any problem. The link in these text messages will take you to a malicious website or software that will install some malware and it will be tracking your activity and reporting to the criminals who then can have access to your bank accounts or any other financial or personal information. It happens during regular days, but especially common during holidays. Make it a habit not to click on links sent to you unless you know the sender. I just received this message and it came after I made an order yesterday from Amazon. Checked Amazon website and sure enough, the package is not even shipped yet and there are no error messages in my account. Be careful! Don’t click on links sent to you!
Be careful everyone! Thanks for sharing this! 🙌
Thank you for sharing, scammers are in full force right now😤
Crazy how people try to take advantage of others. Thanks for sharing.
👀 I just received an Amazon email about my account being locked while I was reading this 🤦🏻♀️ I hate scammers! Oh and don’t open emails like this either because once the sender knows your email address is active, you start receiving even more spam.
I have also been receiving the locked and account issues with amazon and other accounts like PayPal via text. At least once a day.
Ugh I’ve been getting these text.. smh
I just saw an email from Amazon warning about that.. thanks for sharing it
