I think you’re thinking of Walgreens cash rewards. You can’t use cash rewards and still earn cash rewards. When it states buy x amount get register rewards then you can use register rewards and/ or cash rewards. 🙂
You can use CR to earn CR. Just like Colgate total I always using cash rewards to earn cash rewards. Because it says “buy x”, if it says “spend x” you have to notice your orders total amount(before MFC coupon), you can use Walgreens cash, but after used Walgreens cash and the total amount cannot less than spend x amount. Otherwise you won’t get the Walgreens cash. Lol. Sorry. I am a Walgreens fan. I was so excited when I was couponing at Walgreens.😆

Yes. You are correct if your total is still above. I wished they would just make it simple and do away with register rewards and make it all the same like Cvs bucks! 🤣
