hi!
so I got this 20% off coupon from the Catalina machine today and was wondering, since I’ve never seen these before, a bit of the technicalities of them.
I’m much more familiar with how CVS handles similar coupons. what I’m wondering is if using Walgreens cash would affect how this coupon’s percent-off is calculated.
I’m going to assume any store discounts or coupons won’t count toward the amount to calculate the percent off. I’d also kinda assume this is off the subtotal amount before it’s applied. if I paid any portion of the transaction with WCash would that affect this coupon? for example, let’s say the total was $25 and I paid $10 in wcash, would they deduct that $10 from the percent off calculation?
I’m also guessing that if I paired this with a spend boost coupon, this percent off would not count towards that spend requirement.
thank you so much for the help!!
If I understand correctly, it is a store discount coupon. The discount, in this case 20%, off the regular priced item will not count towards spend requirement if you are using boosters. Also, this coupon will not apply to the regular priced items that have a store coupon ( from the coupon book or digital Walgreens coupons, not manufacturerâs coupons) applied to them. This 20% coupon will work with manufacturerâs coupons though.
I watch this lady on YouTube https://youtu.be/5kPgjLpN2oY She explains Walgreens coupon math in a way I can comprehend. This is a video dedicated to coupons that Walgreens gives.
Iâm pretty sure the 20% gets taken off everything regular price because you donât do the Walgreens cash until the very end just like other % off coupons you use online. (However I know for sure Cvs Extracare Bucks will change discounts applied) Hope that helps.
Iâm other words using Walgreens Cash shouldnât affect your 20% discount. Also youâre correct in saying you canât use other coupons and discount. đ€Șđ
