    The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has issued a recall notice advising parents to check their children’s ibuprofen. Certain bottles may contain a foreign substance. The recall involves 89,592 bottles of Children’s Ibuprofen Suspension produced by Strides Pharma for Taro Pharmaceuticals USA, Inc.

    The FDA notes that health risks are generally low and likely temporary, but it’s best not to use these bottles:

    • A strength of 100 mg per 5 mL
    • 4 oz bottles
    • Lot numbers 7261973A and 7261974A

    All of them have an expiration date of January 31st, 2027. Currently, there are no additional instructions for returns or refunds.
