Make sure you purchase AppleCare+ warranty plan and you open it NOW to make sure you have one that turns on. Many do not turn on it just happened to me.
Please watch out when buying through Amazon! or I guess any store to buy these! Buy the extended warranty because you ate going to need it if you transfer your old iPad datea to this new generation iPad as most likely likly turn into being unusable. all the new “recent reviews” on Amazon show 1 star reviews saying at the beginning or 2 months or 1 year this model and screen size has broken leaving you with a piece of junk. China has made this so defective that as of December 2023 to Noveber 2024 they refuse to fix them at the Apple stores due to the glitch being caused by bad software in the model. Whatever this glitch caused at the time during manufacturing it renders this iPad useless. You won’t be able to sign in. The apple store only will offer to take it back if you in the Apple store upgrade and buy the next Apple iPad model from them at full price. I was lucky I bought this for my mom from BestBuy the first day, it went on sale for my mom. It did not work right out of the box would not turn on after 24 hours of charging. We both took it back they offered to exchange it and I said we would only do that if they in the store opened it to make sure it worked. Geek squad opened one and got that new one to work. But they told me to buy the Apple Care+ plan for $3.49 a month because Apple can say they will not allow you itscare plan after your 2 year plan expires.Apple lowered the price on this model because the software does not work on them and they refuse to recall it. Better safe then sorry so I bought my mom’s iPad Applecare+ plan.
