FREE Leprechaun Trap Workshop

Looking for a fun event for your kiddo? Home Depot is offering an exciting kids’ workshop every first Saturday of the month, providing children ages 5 to 12 with the chance to craft wooden creations. While these workshops are tailored to this age group, kids of all ages are welcome to participate.

On March 7th at 9 am, kids get a Leprechaun Trap for free to work on in-store! To register, simply head over here, find the “In-Store Kids’ Workshop” section, and sign up. With limited spots available on a first-come, first-served basis, make sure to register early to secure your child’s spot. Kids will receive a certificate of achievement at the end and a commemorative pin to put on their aprons. Register for this kids’ workshop now!

Please note that all kids must be accompanied by a parent and not all local stores may offer this workshop. It’s always a good idea to call your local store in advance to confirm availability.

FREE Kids Sensory Explorers Event

Lakeshore Learning is hosting a fun event featuring kid-favorite crafting material, Crazy Aaron’s putty! On March 7th from 11 am – 3 pm, join their Sensory Explorers Event where kids can create custom concoctions and learn how color, light and sparkle interact!

Furthermore, on March 21st from 11am – 3pm, there’s a similar event where kids will make gooey-but-cute creatures from another realm. No reservations are needed; this is a walk-in event held at all locations. Parents and guardians might win a $100 e-gift card just by checking in when they arrive. FREE LEGO Star Wars Lightsaber Build Event

LEGO fans, don’t miss this chance! Take advantage of a free creativity workshop at your local LEGO store (select stores, while supplies last). On March 8th, from 12 pm to 2 pm, they are hosting a free LEGO Star Wars Lightsaber Build event!

During this workshop, kids will create their own LEGO Star Wars Lightsaber and take it home. Quantities are limited to one per guest, and the model cannot be purchased in stores. Find the nearest LEGO store here!

Note: This event is hosted on Saturday March 7th, 2026 from 12-2pm at The LEGO Store at Garden State in Paramus, NJ and at The LEGO Store at University Place in Orem, UT.

FREE Museum Admission (Bank of America Cardholders)

Bank of America, Merrill Lynch, and U.S. Trust customers can score a free Museum Admission to over 225 participating museum locations nationwide! All you need to do is show your active Bank of America, Merrill Lynch, Bank of America Private Bank, or U.S. Trust credit or debit card with a photo ID to get the offer.

Free admission is valid at participating institutions for cardholders only (guests do not qualify for free admission). The offer is valid during the first full weekend (Saturday and Sunday) of each month. The next free dates are this weekend, March 7th and 8th. FREE Flower Wreath

JCPenney stores are back with their fun and free Kids’ Zone Craft Event! Every second Saturday of the month, kids get the chance to create something cool and take home goodies like a craft, an ID badge, a lanyard, and a collector’s pin. After completing six crafts, they’ll earn a Master Medallion!

On March 14th, from 11 am local time, kids can have fun making a Flower Wreath! This craft includes all the supplies necessary to complete the craft. FREE Kids Tissue Painted Eggs Craft Event

FREE Lawn Mower Kids Workshop

Interested in a free LEGO Hummingbird build event? LEGO, alongside Barnes & Noble stores, is hosting one on March 28th. Kiddos ages 10+ (but all ages are welcome) can build their very own free LEGO Hummingbird, which they can take home.

Note that some stores will host this event on March 27th, so make sure to check the nearest locations beforehand. FREE California’s Great America Pre-K Pass

California’s Great America Pre-K Pass offers free admission to children between the ages of 3 and 5 for the entire season. They will have unlimited access to California’s Great America theme park, South Bay Shores waterpark, Tricks and Treats and Winterfest!

Build-A-Bear Pay Your Age Birthday Bear

Bonus Club Members (free to join) can score a Build-A-Bear ‘Pay Your Age’ Birthday Bear for the cost of the age your kiddo is turning – regularly this bear goes for $14! Also, note that this is only available at select stores. All you have to do is this: bring your kid into a Build-A-Bear store during their birthday month to count their candles, and they will pay for their own Birthday Treat Bear priced at the number of their age.
