Tuesday Morning Is Closing!

Popular discount home goods company Tuesday Morning recently disclosed that it had filed for bankruptcy and would be liquidating more than half of all of its locations across 38 states. In recent years, Tuesday Morning has found it difficult to compete with large-scale stores and online sellers. They are closing stores and having liquidation sales as a result of their financial issues. These offers have already started to draw buyers looking for discounts on household goods.

As a result, Tuesday Morning is shuttering as many as 265 of its 487 total outlets as part of this bankruptcy and financial restructuring. The majority of the locations we’ve come across are set to close by March 31, even though we don’t have formal news on when each one will shut down. You can read more details here!

Liquidation Sales

Shoppers at the soon-to-be-closed Woodbridge, Virginia, site could take advantage of storewide discounts of just 10% to 20% off all rugs and furniture on February 17, 2023. Expect those discounts to rise by an additional 10% or more each week until the end of March, since the stores are expected to close on March 31.

The company has a recovery plan in place, but many of the issues that contributed to its debt still exist, making the company’s overall future far from secure.
