Netflix has increased its subscription fees, effective immediately. This news was officially announced on Tuesday. The company’s strong performance in the last quarter of 2024, driven by the highly-anticipated Mike Tyson and Jake Paul boxing match and the release of Squid Game Season 2, has resulted in a significant subscriber base of 302 million.
This dominant position in the streaming market allows Netflix to confidently increase prices. The company has stated that these increases will allow them to continue investing in high-quality programming and further enhance the Netflix experience for subscribers.
New Netflix’s 2025 Subscription Plans:
- Standard Plan with Ads: from $6.99 per month to $7.99 per month
- Standard Plan without Ads: from $15.49 per month to $17.99 per month
- Premium Plan without Ads: from $22.99 per month to $24.99 per month
