Hello! The difference is that this is a one-time purchase with no monthly fees (for one computer), while the 365 is a monthly subscription along with the updates (for up to 5 computers). You still get all the same products – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and OneNote. Hope this helps!

Hi! I’m not 100% sure but I think the only difference between Microsoft Office Home and Office 365 is how you pay for them. Office Home is a one-time purchase while Office 365 is subscription-based.
Yes itâs is but a licensed one so you have more access to various functionalities. You just wonât be able to find it under your subscriptions since you will activate using the product key.
