ACTION NEEDED: If you want to continue to receive Text Alerts! Follow the steps in summary below 👇
Summary: 🙌💪
- You will no longer receive Text Alerts on our existing service (Starting Tuesday, July 23rd … Extended from 7/16)
- BUT You can still text me directly on the current service. So don’t unsubscribe from remind. I just won’t be able to broadcast to the group.
- Sign Up to New Text Alert Here:
- â Text to the number 505-97 with the message âFSFâ (do not include the quotes ââ)
- (Note: Some carriers do not allow short codes, if so, try texting to 662-200-4303 with message FSF instead)
- ⥠Once you get welcome message. Reply with your First and Last name
- ⢠Complete this form as backup so I can find you if something happens to the service. If you filled this out back in January, you don’t need to fill it out again.
- â Text to the number 505-97 with the message âFSFâ (do not include the quotes ââ)
- iPhone Users:
- Download FSF App Here (Currently in public beta)
- Turn on App Notification – I’ll be using this more than text alerts due to cost
Long Answer: (If you like details 😉)
The free text alert service I currently use will no longer be available to us starting July 16th. It is a Free service that now limits each class account to 150 people. Since we have many thousands of people in our group, they won’t be able to offer the service to us.
SO. We have to move.
If you are interested in receiving text alerts when there’s a hot deal, please take the following action BEFORE July 15th!
- â Text to the number 50597 with the message âFSFâ (do not include the quotes ââ)
- ⥠Reply with your First and Last name
- ⢠Complete this form as backup so I can find you if something happens to the service. If you filled this out back in January, you don’t need to fill it out again.
Since the new service will be a paid service that is quite pricy and there are many of us here. I won’t be sending out as many text alerts.
If you’re on an iPhone, the best way to sign up to Alerts is to Download the Free Stuff Finder app in the apple app store, and turn on Notification. Android app will become available early next year.
