Every time I try to open the link it opens a page saying I’ve already submitted a request, but I haven’t since I’m seeing this deal for the first time right this minute.

I did, but with your link it really didn’t work. This page is showing/saying that “this deal has expired” though, so it could be the reason why it didn’t work for me after all.
