Hi Maya! No, Thrive Market is not going out of business. What’s shutting down is Thrive Life, which is unrelated despite the similar name. Hope this explains it.

I realized it’s not a $60 off gift but a curated gift valued at $60. At first I was like, why does one need a $25 minimum order if they’re already getting $60 off. Then I realized It’s not a $60 off gift, like it would be a gift card on your account to select your own free groceries up to $60 value. It’s a curated $60 gift set where they’ve preselected $60 worth of items to gift you after you made the minimum $25 order. Kind of like a curated gift basket that they gift for your $25+ order & your $60 membership. I think they’ll only give you the option of choosing which gift basket to choose from. Which may or may not be an assortment of things you like. Takeaway though is, is the $60 gift is not for groceries you’ve selected yourself. In case anyone else was wondering. Still a nice service considering all the discounts and their dedication to organic produce. I might still sign up.

Thrive does not sell produce. They do have a separate dept that handles cooled items like meat, but no super perishables. Their main business is for shelf-stable goods and you have to watch their pricing which is frequently the same or more than Amazon. When you add the $60 membership fee, you have to decide whether it is really saving you any money. They do have some good sales,but it just depends on what you buy. And there are many items under $5 which they have a minimum purchase of 2.
