This did not work.
I tried the top deal, Colgate Cavity Protection 2.5oz for $1, and get $3 back via Ibotta. I had trouble using the app to scan the barcode in store, to ensure that it worked for this offer, so I just bought it. My mistake!
When I got home to submit my receipt, it would not work, claimed the barcodes do not match and this $1 product is not eligible for the $3 Colgate offer. I have the $3 Colgate offer in my Ibotta account for Walmart, but it isn’t working and I cannot submit for cash back. Perhaps they changed the terms of the offer within the last few days?
Oh darn! Yes, seems like the Ibotta that included Cavity Protection is no longer available. There’s another one available now (check it out here) that includes other varieties. Maybe you can return what you bought and try some of those? Hope this helps!
I think I’ll take the $1 loss and save myself from the nightmare of the Walmart return counter (though I haven’t paid for toothpaste in years because of all the great stacking offers). It was quite the zoo today, and I assume it’ll only get worse in the coming weeks!
