I received an email today from Celeste Tan with the message displayed in the picture. I was wondering what is it about, clicked on the name to see the email it comes from. It was from Peekage, rebate company we use. I contacted them and received a warning that their system was compromised, they don’t ask for any invoices or any information from users. Posting this information here for everyone to be aware that this is happening. It can happen to any other company that gives out rebates or do sales online. Be careful!

That is good that they do it. I am very careful with any text messages or emails, but I still clicked on the button to view the invoice because I checked an email address it came from. I am glad it was already disabled, otherwise I would be in trouble. I knew something is wrong, but didn’t listen to myself 🤦🏻♀️ It is a good reminder to be careful no matter what!
