$1.38 for 2 cucumbers!!!
These are Canadian prices that I miss with all my heart (produce was cheap & locally grown there). I haven’t seen a cucumber for less than $1.50 here at all so I’m actually ecstatic!!! I eat so many veggies that it’s literally the best deal for me 😂 😂 😂 🥗 🥕 🥦
Great find Val! 🙌🏻☺️
That is not bad for Target price.
I’ve never seen a cucumber cheaper than $1.30, usually it’s $2! So I’m ecstatic 😂 and yes, I’m surprised — at target of all places… I never go there unless it’s free, everything costs so much money… I think it’s my first shopping there 😂
We have them here 88-99 cents per one, but smaller than the ones you picked. We prefer Persian Cucumber, tastier, but they are expensive, $1.49 minimum per lb. I just found a store where they are sold for 99 cents per lb, but were on sale for a week for 75 cents. Veggies are expensive, especially good ones. Sometimes they have no taste.
Field cucumbers here are usually .60-70, English ones are 1.40-2.29 😩 (I used to pay .99 cad for them). Nothing grows in FL, everything is being brought in, so prices are exorbitant on produce comparing to Canada where it was local 😢 Persian cucumbers? I never tried. I should find them.
You’re right about the no taste part, it happens too (I find that veggies from Walmart don’t have any taste)
Yes, veggies from Walmart, WinCo, rarely, but happens sometimes from Sprouts in our area. Persian cucumbers are smaller, crunchy, sweeter. Sold in bags or by lb, usually more expensive in bags. I prefer them by lb because I can choose the smallest and firmest ones. In my area, Smart and Final is the cheapest store for them.
