I’m trying to figure out a subtle solution for an outdoor camera that is wireless. Something that is not very noticeable and that does not require a subscription.
do you have to have a service for any of these or if you have wifi and a phone can you monitor it yourself…also if so, could the feed be on 2 phones so I can help watch out for my mom? thanks.
I’m pretty sure you have to have a subscription and a like Alexis or echo. I seen a bundle deal for 49.00 on Amazon.
You do not have to have a subscription or an echo device with Alexa. It does require a sync module though. I have a flash drive hooked into mine to store recorded videos instead of paying a monthly cloud subscription. It does come with a 30 day trial to use the cloud. And you can log into the blink app on however many devices. All devices can only be linked to one account though. So you’d need to use the same login for you and your mom. It also works with existing chimes in homes. But if you do not have one of those it will notify you on your phone as well as making a sound on the actual doorbell when someone presses it.
No and that’s the best part! As long as you have the blink app and WiFi, you’re good to go. Super easy setup too 🙂
