Bed Bath & Beyond will resume operations soon online! The online retailer Overstock.com one of the biggest names in e-commerce is changing its name to Bed & Bath & Beyond after declaring bankruptcy earlier this year. They stated that the Bed & Bath & Beyond website and mobile app would be relaunched in July 2023, beginning on July 5th in Canada and later moving to the United States.
Overstock.com won the auction to buy what’s left of Bed Bath & Beyond, including the brand’s name, website, and loyalty program assets â and they’re putting their $21 million purchase to use right now. However, the deal excludes the Bed Bath & Beyond physical stores, which are closing.
Meanwhile, the buybuyBaby chain, a former Bed Bath & Beyond sister company, is being auctioned off separately and is regarded the most appealing component of the retailer’s assets. It remains unclear who is buying that portion of the business.
