If you’re using Power Stick roll-on deodorants, you might want to check your cabinet. According to a notice posted by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), over 67,000 cases of Power Stick deodorants are being recalled due to manufacturing defects.Â
What’s the Issue?
The recall stems from deviations from current good manufacturing practices (cGMPs) — a set of industry-standard guidelines for ensuring quality and safety in pharmaceutical and personal care manufacturing. Although no press release has been issued yet, the FDA confirms the recall is currently ongoing.
