I knew about this feature on Ibotta before, but it required either credit/debit card or bank account to use it. Ibotta recently added new form of payment for purchasing gift cards, which is your earnings collected by submitting rebates. The most important part, by purchasing gift cards you are not only earning some % back, but also completing your bonus offers because each purchase of a gift card is counted as 1 completed offer.
I completed my bonus yesterday by purchasing 3 gift cards of $5 ( minimum) value from Walmart, and earning 3 cents on top for each.
All you have to do is to click on Gift Cards link on your main page, choose gift card you want to purchase, enter minimum amount ( or how much you want) and choose your earnings as a form of payment ( or any other you like).

That’s awesome! I stopped using their gift card option when they stopped taking credit card and kept only bank as an option.
I didn’t use it at all, but now since I can use my earnings, for sure will be using it. Hopefully, they will not change it again!
