YETI has issued a safety recall of their Soft Coolers and Gear Cases due to magnet ingestion hazards. The problem with products is that they have a magnet-lined closure that can fail and release the magnets, which can lead to serious injury. Once you submit the form for a recall, they will provide you with a prepaid shipping label and packaging material for you to return your recalled product. As a refund, they offer YETI gift cards or substitute products, which will be sent only after YETl’s receipt and validation of recalled products. Check out more information on YETI Recall here.Â
Here is the list of the products that have been impacted:
- YETI Hopper M20 Soft Backpack
- YETI Hopper M30 Soft Cooler (1.0 and 2.0)
- YETI SideKick Dry Gear Case
If you have any of the products mentioned above, you can submit a form here and once the recalled product is received and validated, you will be issued either a suggested replacement product or a gift card of the same or greater value. For submitting the form you should have the following prepared:
- Contact information
- Product model
- Your YETI product, ready to be photographed
