    Fabric Softener Saver

    Want to make your liquid fabric softener go a little further? Simply take your go to liquid fabric softener and soak an old hand towel or flour cloth in it over night overnight.  After 8-12 hours of soaking, wring it out and throw it in your next load of laundry. This one, soaked cloth will easily last you 30-40 loads of laundry.

    This will help you to stretch out the fabric softener use and it will enable you to become less wasteful. What a great way to save money, and keep your clothes smelling fresh with your favorite scent.

    Homemade Dishwashing Soap

    Do you get bored of the same lemon fresh scent of dishwashing soap? Here is a great way to not just save money, but create dishwashing soap that fits your current mood of what you scent you are liking at the time. All you have to do is mix the following ingredients and the outcome will be great smelling, effective dishwashing soap:

    • 3 Tablespoons liquid castile soap (i.e. Dr Bronner’s)
    • 2 cups hot water
    • 2 teaspoons glycerin
    • 10 drops of essential oil

    Add all ingredients into an empty squeeze bottle…shake…shake…shake…and there you have your homemade dishwashing soap.

    All – Purpose Cleaner

    Need a cleaner that will work on any surface? This would be a go to cleaner to make to cut down on your monthly expenses on all the different types of cleaners you might use around the house from floors to walls, toilets to mirrors. Make this solution and you will be set.

    • 2 Tablespoons ammonia
    • 1 Teaspoon dish detergent
    • 2 cups rubbing alcohol
    • 4 drops food coloring – optional
    • 3 drops of essential oil

    Measure all ingredients into an empty, clean gallon jug. Fill to top with hot water. Then pour into a spray bottle. Now you have made your very own all purpose cleaner.
