Post Cereal Lovers, this post may concern you! This Post Cereal Class Action Lawsuit has been settled. There will be a $15 million worth payout, so be sure to check if you’re eligible to be a part of it!
If you purchased eligible Post cereals between August 29, 2012 and November 2, 2020, you may qualify for receiving a FREE cash settlement. You can receive up to $14.28 without proof of purchase but you will be capped to $4 per month. And if by any chance you have proof, like a receipt, you are not capped. The claim period is through May 19th, 2021! Don’t miss out!
You just have to fill out this form to submit your claim. Class Members who timely submit a valid approved claim are entitled to compensation. Based on the estimated number of claims that will be made, the estimated average payment is approximately $14.28. However, the actual amount any single person will receive depends on both the number of claims made, and each claimant’s purchase history, and may be significantly more or less than $14.28. See more info here!
The Settlement Class includes all persons in the United States who, between August 29, 2012 and November 2, 2020 (the “Class Period”), purchased in the United States, for household use and not for resale or distribution, one of the Class Products.
Here is more about the lawsuit. The lawsuit contends that Post Foods made certain statements on the labels of various sizes and varieties of Post Cereals that are misleading because the statements suggested the cereals are healthy. Plaintiffs allege they are unhealthy because of their added sugar. Post maintains that the statements on its cereals are true and that the Post Cereals are nutrient-dense, healthy foods. The Court has not determined whether Plaintiffs or Post are correct. Fairness Hearing will be held on June 23rd, 2021!

Cereal isn’t a healthy food no matter how “healthy” the box claims unlesss they taste flavorless or bland all the added sugars and calories are rlly unhealthy. Vox has done many videos about the topic like how cereal is “part of a good breakfast”
Thank you so much. Submitted mine. Who keeps receipts that long?
You’re welcome!
Oh lord. Gimme a break smh
Was kind of thinking the same. Seems like people should be responsible for their own intake based on the ingredient list which is required to be on the box for just this reason
Thank you
You’re welcome, Tanya!
LOL. I just looked at the list of cereals and I don’t buy any of them. I buy LOTS of cereal, but never any that claim to be “healthy”!
Thank you!
You’re welcome, Debra!

You’re welcome!
