Hi Trevor! So sorry to hear your store is doing this. Did a manager tell you this or the cashier? Most registers at Target are programmed to take in to account the coupons when a gift card is involved. If you have further questions about their “new” rule, you may want to call Target’s corporate office or customer service.
It was the manager that told me this. She said they reprogrammed the register to not allow it.
