Why is this still coming up if we had to buy it by the 31st of October & it’s November 7th?
Apologies! I didn’t change the dates in the post, but I’m doing so as we speak. Thank you for bringing this to my attention!
The reviews on this sound very bad. There’s no way a mystery like this can be good.
I’ve done this and I’m going to Denver in a couple of weeks. I think there is pros and cons. You will most likely get something in the country. However, it’s somewhat flexible depending on where you are flying from. They will give you a destination but if the dates or location doesn’t work you can ask what your other options are. I originally got Las Vegas but I had other options for Phoenix, Nashville and Denver. We added an extra night for $100 each. The associate never tried to upsell. I asked about that. The downside is you don’t know the flight times or airline you are flying until a couple of weeks out. We got frontier which means no carry on or checked bags unless you want to pay $70 per bag per way. If you don’t pay for that we ended up paying like $700 for 2 people for round trip flight and hotel for 3 nights. I’d say that’s a great deal but haven’t had the trip yet so fingers crossed!
This is very helpful. Thank you so SO much for sharing your experience with this deal! Hope you enjoy your trip!
I wouldn’t do this. The number of reviews that speak of upcharging, low grade hotels, etc. Also by the time you pay extra fees for what is “available “ that you could have paid out of pocket with less expense…That’s a no for me. One person said her bank flagged as a scam. Research this company with BBB first.
Interesting
Has anyone done this? And what’s the Catch
All of the reviews I read, including some from Oct and Nov 2024, were pretty negative. Most people ended up with trips to Atlanta, Florida or Las Vegas, had to travel mid week and were booked into hotels with high additional fees (parking, resort etc…). The negatives were sufficient enough to warrant not moving ahead with the purchase.
