How to Make Your Own Cow Attire 🐮
Don’t want to spend money on a cow costume? There are some super cheap costume ideas made from materials you might already have! One easy option is to tape black construction paper to a white t-shirt!
Materials:
- White T-Shirt ($2 from Michaels)
- Black Construction Paper (Under $1)
- Scissors
- Tape – Any type. I used gift wrapping scotch tape
If you don’t have a white T-Shirt handy, I got kids white t-shirts from Michaels for only $2. Simply cut out cute cow spots and taped them on. Another idea if you don’t have a white Tee handy, you can use a white trash bag – cut holes in them and use in place for white T-shirt. Such a fun and easy idea! You can also print a cow mask here.
You can make fun simple costumes for just a few bucks in material or free. The kids will have lots of fun helping you out.

Is it completely free? Do you have to purchase anything? And is there a limit? What I mean is, if me and my kids and my nephews go in cow attire will we all get a free meal?
Hi Kristy! Per Chick-fil-a’s website, anyone who visits their restaurant wearing any sort of cow apparel will receive a free entree. Here’s a link to their FAQ: https://www.chick-fil-a.com/contact-support#cow_appreciation_day
