Hi there! The $40 digital shop card can only be used online, on Costco.com. I also checked the fine print and they did not mention whether it can be used in a pick up order or not. Normally, it should work but just to be sure, I would suggest reaching out to their Customer Service. They should be able to give you a clearer answer. And if you can, please keep me posted!

Hey there! The deal is valid for new members only and those whose memberships (Primary and Household) expired prior to January 1, 2022. Are you an existing member or did your membership expire after January 1st? Maybe that explains it.
The price is $60 for the membership but with that $60 membership you get a $40 digital Costco shop card AND a $40 off online order of $250 or more.
So yes you pay $60 but its LIKE getting it for $20 b/c of the $40 ship card. Hope that helped…have a blessed day!
