• Favorite Things Friday: Dinner Winner Kids Dinner Trays (Making Meal Time Fun)

UPDATE: This Giveaway is now over! Winner announcement has been posted on my homepage. See more Giveaways being dropped on my blog here.

My son Ryan is kind of a picky eater (he takes after my husband, Mr FSF ). While my daughter Sophie isn’t a picky eater, she would start to mimic her brother’s behaviors (and verbal complaints), and before you know it, meal times can turn into a battle of wills. Me vs them. And it usually ends in tears.

Then last year I discovered these plates made by Fred & Friends called “Dinner Winner“. They are designed to encourage kids to finish their food. If you follow me on SnapChat, you may have seen me use these plates when preparing meals for my kids.

I LOVE these trays! They are so fun and colorful. Each tray is set up like a little board game, where you follow a “map” of food to a ” hidden treasure”.  When you finish the trail of food, the last placement is a covered spot for a hidden treat.   This is your “bait”. #Genius!

The first day I brought these plates out, they were an instant hit! And they really did motivate both my kiddos to finish their food, including things they didn’t like. I’ve since gotten these trays in pretty much every pattern . They really do make mealtime more fun, and can motivate and encourage picky eaters to finish their meals (and even try new things). I typically put a little piece of chocolate in the treat spot and that does the trick.

Anyway, it’s been a lot of fun preparing their meals and watching them use these trays. If you have a fussy eater, or you just want to add some fun into meal time, I recommend checking these plates out. They come in 5 different patterns.

I have a 4 year old boy who never sits to eat lunch or dinner so we have to chase him around to get him to eat his food. I also want to introduce salads to him so this would be a great idea to get him to try something new especially because I saw they have a pirate themed plate and he is obsessed with pirates.

Hello, I’m from Bakersfield, California. I have a 2 year old daughter and she is such a picky eater! I’m a first time mom, I’m 22 and still in college. It can get frustrating when she won’t touch her plate of food because there’s fruits or veggies(which she hates) and I feel like this would be a great way to try to make her eat something different one day at a time. This would be a super fun and different way to make her eat her fruits and veggies. ! Hope I win!
Wish all you guys luck! I’m sure our kids would benefit from these adventures plates! Thank you!

I’m entering for my oldest very picky eater. She’d have pizza and noodles every night if I let her. This plate is adorable and I think it would really help motivate her to eat better. Not to mention my other 3 would have fun with it as well! Could be used as the special plate each night and rotate it between kiddos! I’m reading from olivehurst, ca thanks!

      Grilled cheese or ramen noodles

that is all he eats, ever!!

He would go for this 100% as he can be bribed and loves games mates esp.

I’ve got TWO picky eaters and mealtime is so stressful for us. I try my best to not stress but frequently find myself wanting to pull my hair out ‍♀️

      Hello 🙂
Where do I start? lol my 3 year old survives on snacks, she will not eat any fruits, vegetables and everything that has those 2 things on it like a meal she will say ‘yucky’ and turn away! I think she would love this, she is just learning the whole imagination thing! I would love to try this and see! Thanks for doing what u do!!

My 4 year old only wants mac and cheese and since she’s allergic to cheese, we have to be creative! Sometimes out works, sometimes it doesn’t!

I would be winning this for my little girl! Picky picky eater, but she favors BLUEBERRIES, popcorn, and chicken the most, I try to sneak veggies in all the time by adding some olive oil and garlic .

My 4 year old is so picky with textures of food, I can see this making it fun for him to try new things!
