How do you know if your store has sale? Does it register in the app and show prices, or you have to go to the store and check what is on sale? I am checking the app and it shows usually just store sales from the ad. What I am thinking that maybe my stores have these sales, but I donāt know when they happen because I am just checking the app for prices.
No, it doesnāt show anywhere.. unfortunately… I wish lol. Just the manager is awesome, knock on wood, he marks down a lot of items quite often (not all the time). I havenāt seen such a huge clearance at the second sprouts (rarely) of ours or any other sprouts in the state that I visited. I believe that the sprouts I go to has such clearance all the time because thereās Costco literally next door ā 1 minute walk, and itās always packed, but not many people shop at sprouts, so theyāre trying to move perishable products faster before they go bad. Just my thoughts, of course, I think itās due to where itās located.
I think it is managerās choice in your case to rather sell cheap than throw away. One of the Sprouts here is right next to Costco also. They donāt discount anything. I have seen many times how they clean veggies in this store , and huge trash can full of still ok looking veggies or fruits goes to waste. It could be also because of state regulations that donāt allow store managers to offer big discounts. They prefer to throw it away than get in trouble maybe?
Probably youāre right! Oddly enough, often times I find clearance stuff that doesnāt expire until nect month. Maybe itās also for making people ātry new productsā, then get addicted and pay full price in the end š
I believe Publix does throw it out too (or give to employees?) because Iāve never seen any produce / perishables on clearance thereā¦ oh well. Letās hope that clearance comes your way! Thereās a great community on Facebook, about sprouts, where people share clearance from different states. I saw people from AZ, CA have awesome deals too.

I have seen this mozzarella in Costco, but donāt want to buy this much in case we donāt like it. I wish my stores price the food this way.
