you need to break it down, i am unable to make 6 products minus coupons equal free
The coupons helped make it free for me. There was a receipt bonus on Ibotta which gave me $3 more off and a bonus deal with coupons.com with an extra $5 back if you buy $25 of nature valley and fiber one products which I already had ~$10 contributed to from a previous purchase. Without the coupons, it would have been $1.99 each which is the sale price at Safeway which is still a good deal in my book
4x Nature valley $1.99 each (mix and match sale price if you buy 3+) = $8 (rounded)
– $ 1.50 from Ibotta (2 boxes were 50¢ back and the other two were 25¢ back)
– 75¢ bonus for doing 3 Nature valley offers on Ibotta
– 50¢ back from coupons.com for buying two boxes (I used the app for a rebate rather than a printed coupon so if you printed two of the coupons prior to buying the boxes in the store, you could have $1 back instead of the 50¢ I got)
2x Fiber one $1.99 (mix and match sale price) = $4 (rounded)
– 50¢ back from coupons.com for buying two boxes (could possibly print multiple coupons to get more back and use it in store to lower your out of pocket cost at stores rather than getting money back from the apps)
– $1 (2x 50¢ back each box)from Ibotta
– $3 bonus from Ibotta for claiming 6 offers
– $5 off from coupons.com for the bonus offer buying $25 nature Valley and Fiber one products
= 8 -1.5 -.75 – .50 + 4 – 1 -3 – 5
= 12 (cost) – 11.75 (back)
= 25¢ total cost for 6 boxes using Ibotta and coupons.com
I submitted my receipt to fetch and got 32¢ back from it making it free for all 6 boxes
I also had purchased other items at the store which also qualified for Ibotta rebates hence the $3 extra money back that I had mentioned in the original post. Either way, with this breakdown I was able to get the boxes for free. Without the apps it would have been just the sale price.
