first, congrats on your pregnancy!!! I wish you all the best 🙂 I no longer have a pic of the gift cards I received but was able to find it with a quick Google search and many of the cards are exactly the same as yours. mine and the ones shared online aslo came with a ‘reciept’. the Better Business Bureau released a statement on it cautioning people that it is a scam that increases shipping cost once the gift card is applied to cover the cost of the gift card. so hopefully not stealing payment info, but definitely not a deal. my guess is that the company doing this sends a bunch of these gift cards to OBGYNs in hopes that they will pass them along to their clients. and the OBGYNs, not knowing any better, do because of course you would. companies also send them samples to give out, so they wouldn’t think anything of passing along gift cards as well. if you’re curious, this article has a clear picture of the cards from the scam and many are exactly like yours. https://www.wsj.com/articles/which-jen-sent-the-baby-gift-cards-no-one-you-know-11553008170 you have to be a member to view the full article, but there’s tons of article online if you Google ‘baby gift cards in mail’. take care and congrats again on your baby!! so exciting 🙂

just be cautious is all I’m saying. don’t want to rain on anybody’s parade, but want to warn that they may not be safe. the ones I got were all ‘ insert product name ‘ .com, just like these. print “handwriting” in the exact same font like these for the amounts. they were all paper and cardstock, not plastic. these look like that too. maybe do research on the website name before you do anything if yiu think about trying 🙂
No it’s not, my doctor gave it to me in a congratulation bag when my pregnancy test came back positive
The gift cards were wrapped in a cute plastic container and the receipt was with it. The bag also had formula, a newborn bottle and pacifier, baby towels, samples of baby products like lotions, body wash, wipes and some other stuff. They give the bags out at my obgyn office when a patient becomes pregnant.
just a heads up. I got a bunch of “gift cards” like these before in the mail. looked it up and it’s a scam. Best case scenario it’s just a scam for you to pay the outrageous shipping costs. worst case scenario, they steal your card information etc.
