Many major retailers have announced they are offering special shopping hours for our most vulnerable populations including senior citizens, pregnant women, and those with compromised immune systems.
Most of the restricted shopping times occur during the first hour or two of business. Many stores are closing down overnight for restocking and enhanced cleaning. These restricted hours will give our most vulnerable family and friends a chance to get what they need in the cleanest and safest environment possible while avoiding the large crowds.
The requirements to shop during these hours vary by store, so make sure to contact your local store before heading out. Stores don’t seem to be requiring ID but it may be a good idea to have one just in case!
